So I found this new recipe on Tumblr. Someone posted the picture and they look promising to me :D I tried it and it tastes good. Maybe I'm gonna add some nuts to get the nutty taste. That should be nice.
The recipe that I followed was actually a healthy-diet recipe but since I can't find most of the ingredients she used in her recipe, I just used whatever I have in the kitchen :P
Original recipe here
In a medium bowl, place the batter ingredients:
1 cup of softened butter ( make sure they're out from the freezer few hours before!)
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of sugar ( I didn't bother to add the sugar bcs I dont want it to be too sweet)
In another medium bowl, place the dry ingredients:
2 1/4 cups of flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp of baking soda
1/4 cup of Skim Milk ( if you can't find skim milk, use regular milk/soy milk)
1 tsp of vanilla essence
2 cups of chocolate chips ( I used half regular choc chips, half Hershey semi-sweet choc chips)
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 170-180 degrees. Prep the baking tray with baking paper so that the cookies wont stick on the pan after you bake them. Or else you have to scrape them off the pan. Too much work.
2. Mix the butter and sugar with a mixer. Once everything is combined, add the milk and vanilla essence. Mix them well. The texture should be a creamy consistency.
3. Add the dry ingredients to the creamy ingredients. Mix it with a wooden spoon. Next, put in the chocolate chips, fold in the chocolate chip together with the dough.
4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking paper. I used two teaspoon (one for scooping, one for pushing the dough onto the baking pan).
5. Bake them for 8-10mins or until the edges are brown at 170-180 degrees.
The next time, I'd probably gonna add 1 cup of rolled oats and 1/2 cups of almonds or other nuts to give it a crunch ;D
Enjoy!
